While crossing the street on my way home the other day, I spotted these two very fashionable and hip girls and immediately stopped them for a few photos. I love their cool style—check out those rocking vintage YSL sunglasses and how the girl on the right used two feathers as a neat hair accessory. Sweet!
Style Pill Likes: homerunballerina
I am a huge fan of the blog homerunballerina and love this girl’s style. I think this skirt if so fun and perfect for spring. And, isn’t this photograph cool? She was nice enough to give a little photoshop tutorial on how to do this. Read about it here. I think I’ll try it out on some of my photographs soon!
My Style: Vintage in the Park
The weather has been so lovely this week so yesterday while I was out and about I popped into this pretty garden to see if I could snap a few shots of my very favorite vintage dress. I wore my new belt from Forever 21 along with strappy sandals and a marigold-colored scarf to tie it all together. Et, voila!
My Ensemble:
Scarf, H&M
Dress, Vintage
Shoes, Forever 21
Cool Chick.
Last night I was way up past my bedtime doing some work, when Ferris Bueller came on. I had forgotten how undeniably cool Ferris’ girlfriend, Sloane Peterson, was in this movie. I love her slightly edgy, yet feminine style…you must remember that white fringe leather jacket right? Priceless. I don’t think that I could pull off her entire ensemble, but I would take away a few key pieces. One being her sunglasses. Love.
Blog Love.
After a long day of running around, and then a very intense yoga workout, I finally came home and checked back up on a few of my favorite blogs— What I Wore being one of them—and was so excited to see this come up on the screen! A huge thanks to Miss Jessica! Stay tuned, my dear readers, for more fun, summery outfits!
Lovely looks.
I recently posted about much I love liebemarlene and her neat online vintage store, but I am also loving her personal style. While I was browsing through wardrobe_remix on flickr I came across her profile and immediately fell in love. I love the backgrounds that she uses for her photographs…here are a few of my favorite outfits. Isn’t her Madeline hat the greatest?
Weardrobe is where it’s at.
I recently joined the cool site, Weardrobe, which I recommend all you people who love individual style and creative folks to check it out. You can follow people and vice versa, see what they are wearing and it is all sorts of fun. Very inspiring. Anyway, this girl and I are now Weardrobe “friends” and I am loving her fun style. This outfit in particular really caught my eye. I could see wearing it to a afternoon matinee or meeting friends for brunch. And, let’s be honest, you all know how much I adore ankle socks with heels…
Currently Coveting: The Sash from American Apparel
I love how AA always shows a million different ways to wear their items. It is so creative and inspiring…it really helps me look at some of the sort of basic and simple items in my closet in a different and more interesting way. What do you think about this sash? And, isn’t this girl’s outfit so cute? I think I definitely need to add this awesome acessory to my wardrobe. Lucky for me there is one around the corner from my apartment. Next stop: American Apparel!
