Just a few photos from Zurich seen through my iPhone. We had a lovely time hanging out at the thermal baths, eating sausages and drinking hot wine, and watching the locals sing songs at the various beer halls. All and all, an amazing weekend spent with loved ones. Hope you all had a relaxing weekend. Happy Monday! xo
London Town
Sorry for the radio silence, but am taking a few days off to spend some time in London with my best friend and her husband. We will be eating lots of good food, admiring all the pretty holiday lights and even jetting off to Zurich for a quick weekend to indulge in spa baths and shopping! I can’t wait.
Will be back to regular programming on Monday but in the meantime enjoy your holiday weekend and eat lots of turkey! xo

F21 Necklace / H&M Top, Pants, Wedges / Coach Bag (gift)
I can’t reveal all the details yet, but I took a little trip to the Alma G Salon to get all gussied up for a video shoot I did this past Tuesday. (Let’s just say, if you live in New York, look for me on Taxi TV during September Fashion Week!) The talented women at the salon did a fabulous job, including Alma herself who gave me a lovely wavy blow out and Veronica who did my makeup. I left feeling all dolled up, only to head directly out into a terrential downpour. Thank goodness for cabs. The shoot itself went swimmingly and I had a great time with the team chatting about various fashion and beauty topics.
Later on that evening, I grabbed dinner with one of my best friends and quickly changed into these burnt orange shorts keeping the main accessories the same. I can’t seem to get enough of this top, and the fact that I think polka dots are going to be huge for fall, I couldn’t be happier with it!
J. Crew Panama Hat, Belt / H&M Top, Wedges / Urban Outfitters Shorts / Coach Bag (gift)
Glossy, wavy curls. I love a good blow out. :)
Trip To LA: Gap 1969 Studio
Finally, a peek into the Gap 1969 Design Studio, where the magic happens. I tried to capture all the greatness, but I don’t think these photos do it justice. It was so inspiring to walk into such a spacious and beautiful loft, full of such talented people, everyone so excited to talk about the brand and what they were working on.
I have to say I really loved all the pieces I saw for fall and can’t wait for my cute taupe skinny cords to arrive in the mail! Thank you again to Gap and Vogue for hosting this amazing opportunity. I had an incredible time. xoxo
P.S. Ann from the wonderful blog, Holier Than Now was on the trip as well (love her!) and did a fantastic job creating a great collage of the whole event as well as taking beautiful photographs inside the studio. Check them out here!
Trip To LA: Mondrian Los Angeles
{ My large comfy bed that looked out at onto an impressive view of LA }
{ The beautiful pool and lounge area at the Mondrian Los Angeles Hotel }
{ Styling my new H&M shorts, two different ways }
I arrived in LA a day early before everything took place, so I was lucky enough to indulge in some relaxation time at my luxurious accommodations, the Mondrian Los Angeles Hotel. I spent some much needed R&R at the pool and took a walk (!) down Sunset Boulevard to see what I could see. I have to admit it was a little strange to see so few people on the street after being very used to the hustle bustle of New York’s crowded sidewalks. But, I quickly adapted and soaked up the perfect sunny weather, did a little shopping and then met a good friend for dinner and drinks later that evening at the Hollywood Roosevelt. For those of you just joining us, this is what I wore.
Stay tuned for the final recap and photos from the Gap event, tomorrow! xoxo

Last week I was lucky enough to be flown out to Los Angeles as a part of the Vogue Blogger Network for a very fun meeting and event thrown by Gap. I took a million photos and met some amazing people, all of which I will share over the next couple days (still compiling!), but for now, here are some photos of what I wore to the event…

So Long Los Angeles…
I am sitting at the LAX airport as I type, getting ready to head back to the east and resume my regular life. But, I have to say that this little trip, which I promise, promise to share all about it next week, has proven to be just what I needed. So, I’d like to send a huge thank you to all the wonderful people that flew me out here!
(Since I don’t have an outfit to share, I leave you with a few favorite photos from this lovely week.
