It’s been almost two years since we’ve visited our friends, Kristen and Ray, at their beautiful home in Marblehead, Mass., so when they invited us to their summer BBQ we jumped at the chance. I was lucky enough to borrow a car from my friends at Ford and before we knew it we were off for a quick weekend getaway. To read and see more, click below…
Five Ways To Shake Up Your Saturday!
After living in the city for almost eleven years, I find that at times, it can be really easy for me to slip into a routine of doing the same thing every weekend. So when SheKnows asked me to write an come up with five different ways to spice up my Saturdays, I jumped at the chance. I knew that I wanted to keep it budget friendly but also creative and fun, so if you are in need of shaking up your weekend routine, head on over to SheKnows and check out the article! xo

Weekend Love.
Weekend, you were grand. You were the perfect mix of indulgent fun and relaxing moments, and I thank you for it. I am also happy to report that I was able to get a lot of outfit (both photo and video) footage this past weekend, so I will be sharing what I wore tomorrow, not only on the blog, but on my YouTube channel as well!
To that end…I also am going to start a second channel – a vlog – which will be about my personal life and anything else that doesn’t exactly fall under the category of fashion – we are talking more lifestyle, food, my cat, Casey, travel, family etc. So, if you guys are into that and would want to watch, please let me know because I am hoping to start it sooner than later! YAY! xoxo
P.S. I changed my hair up (again!) over the weekend at Arrojo thanks to the talented Francesca, and am really happy with it! More to come on that soon, but in the meantime, what do you guys think? I absolutely love it. :)
Hello, Weekend!
Hi hi! What are you guys up to this weekend? Casey is back from Nashville (he was there for a work trip) so I plan on splitting my time between catching up and hanging out with him, and holing up downstairs in the closet editing YouTube videos because…I’M LAUNCHING MY CHANNEL ON TUESDAY! Holy moly, you guys, it’s all happpppening. I’m nervous and excited but mostly excited, so I really hope you guys come check it out.
I will be uploading videos on Tuesday and Thursday and they will be focused on fashion, styling, shopping and all that fun stuff, so stay tuned! I will make sure to give you all the necessary info and details on Monday, but in the meantime, enjoy your weekend, stay warm (if you are currently in a cold climate) and wish me luck!
P.S. Please feel free to suggest styling questions, topics and things you want to cover, ok? xo
over the weekend
This past weekend it was so frigid outside, it felt impossible to take any photographs of what I wore because it might require me to remove my puffy coat. So instead I snapped a few pictures from how I spent my Saturday, which included wandering around the West Village in the snow, stopping for brunch and window shopping.
Extra Virgin – one of my favorite places for brunch.
I love how they serve coffee in something that is reminiscent of a Coleman camping mug. Their mimosas are pretty great too.
I’m funny when it comes to the way I prefer my eggs benedict. I know it’s way off, but I ask for them to scramble the egg and put the sauce on the side. It still tastes amazing. :)
Love a retro bike with a wicker basket.
Pretty sure these little beauties were fake, but they still added a dose of cheerful to an otherwise dreary front stoop.
Hope you all had a warm and relaxing weekend! xo
Happy Weekend!
TGIF! I am so ready for Saturday and Sunday to be here.
Here is what I plan on doing this weekend:
Sleep in. Drink lots of tea and coffee. Eat eggs and french toast at brunch. Walk around TriBeCa. Snap random photographs. Hold hands with A. Sip wine at dinner. Sing along to Mary Poppins (we might go see it this weekend!). Sunbathe (with sunscreen) in Central Park with friends. Drink more tea. Eat at Whole Foods’ Sushi Bar. Sit on magic couch with A and watch TrueBlood. Sleep for eight hours.
Enjoy your weekend wherever you are, and I’l see you bright ‘n early Monday morning!
P.S. Thank you again for all the lovely comments regarding the Glamour spread. You guys are the best! xoxo
Happy Fourth!
my outfit: pop ‘n lock
Happy rainy Monday everyone. What did you do this weekend? I spent my time taking lazy naps by the Hudson, listening to good music, taking more cat naps, and wandering around the city. Sunday night, we cooked up a yummy homemade meal of King salmon, sauteed potatoes and a light strawberry spring salad. I even made a (relatively healthy) Fat Elvis for dessert!
On a fashion note, check out these killer wedges from Steve Madden. They are sky high but totally easy to walk in because of the double platform, which adds extra stability. I especially like the way the black parts of the shoe really pop against the light all-denim outfit.
